Russ is currently studying for his BA in English Language at Ramkamhaeng University, Bangkok.
Duangta is studying for her Master’s Degree in English at Chulalongkorm University, Bangkok.
Russ has had a selection of careers in his time: from leaving college to join the British Army to working offshore on the drilling rigs; to owning his own IT consultancy; and then to being a Yacht Captain and delivering sailing yachts all over the world; he is currently working as a freelance Technical Writer.
Duangta has a Bachelor of Education, majoring in English, from the Rajabhat Rambhaibarni University, Chantaburi, Thailand.
Russ first went to Thailand in 2008 whilst participating in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. Following an injury sustained in the Southern Ocean he went to Thailand for some recuperation and some scuba diving. He really enjoyed his time there and wanted to return when possible.
He returned the following year, and that’s when Duangta and Russ met.
