If you’re trying to learn Thai at the How To Read Thai website, you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s a new post over there dealing with the short vowel, สระ -ิ.
This post concludes the breakdown of the sample sentence given. We plan to put more on in due course, plus video’s and other media but it all takes time. The recent Fantastico upgrade screwed the site up for a day and entering Thai script in the manner that I do, with character formatting to simplify the explanation process, so that you can easily follow it, isn’t a quick process.: especially in a WordPress site.
Even writing it in something like MS Word is a pain (isn’t it just!) and as soon as you try and bring it form there across to WordPress…if you know anything about Word then you’ll know the problems and constraints we’re faced with.
